What Shapes Your Quote
Two businesses of the same size can need very different amounts of work, which is why we quote each case individually instead of publishing a price list. These are the factors that move the number.
Scope of your filings
A single personal return is not the same as a corporation filing in several states. The number of entities, the states involved, and whether owners file separately all change the work required.
The state of your books
Monthly transaction volume matters, but what matters more is how current your records are. Books that are up to date cost less to work with than a year that has to be reconstructed from scratch.
International exposure
Foreign accounts, foreign income, non-resident ownership of a U.S. company, or reporting under FBAR and FATCA add filings that a purely domestic return never needs.
Prior years still open
Late returns, amended returns, and unanswered IRS notices are handled year by year. Telling us about them upfront keeps the quote accurate instead of growing later.
Not sure how to answer some of the fields?
Leave them blank. The form is there to speed things up, not to test you. If your situation does not fit neatly into the options, describe it in your own words in the last field and we will sort out the details together before quoting anything.
